How can you not love Anita Blake?!?!

I have to admit, I have only read the graphic novels. But I love the story, the characters, everything!!! If you've never read it, doooo it!! >:D Especially the first ones, with art by Brett Booth. I love his drawings, I could hang the pages on my wall! But I don't want to ruin the book =P

So anyway, this came up when looking for a character to draw. I wanted to do someone more real than the perfect, fearless superheroes. So who better than Anita Blake? Short, unfit and getting sick in the sight of blood.

And then I wanted to do a more dynamic pose. I overdid it with the smudge tool, I think. And I'm not very convinced it's a good drawing.
